I've waited a couple days to post this review to really think it through. Here's the deal, I like a gentle, light pressure relaxing massage. I get tension headaches, but here's the thing: I don't like to have someone dig into my muscles period. So I make the appointment and I'm told that the therapist is a medium pressure therapist... ummm what? Shouldn't that be my decision? So I say that I like light pressure and she says ok and makes the appt.
The staff is nice enough, and the therapist is really nice so that's all fine, but here's the thing: I wanted a light pressure, relaxing massage. I had to tell her a couple times that the pressure was too much. Do I know there's probably areas I need "worked on"? Yep! But do I want that? Nope! I know me, I'm tense and don't relax, I enjoy a massage for the human contact and the relaxation... if I wanted someone to dig in to my sore areas, I would ask for that.
I had planned to purchase the membership at this appt., this one was a gift so it was a good time to do it. But after being told what my massage pressure was going to be and leaving feeling sore and annoyed I used my gifted massage and got out of there.
