  • I used to come here often as a kid in the early 90s, and loved this place! Even back then my friends and I always appropriately referred to it as Castles N Gangsters. The good ole days when every ride operator had a neck tattoo and Nike Cortez's on. Anyone else remember that? Well I am much older now, and my boyfriend had never ever been so I insisted we go for some laughs. We went at 820 pm on a Thursday and the young cashier said if we waited til 830 the tickets would be only be 15$ each(almost half off) which was way worth it. For how small the park is we had plenty of time to ride everything before park closing at 10pm. Zero lines to wait in. We were able to ride back to back so we felt like we got our money's worth. Employees were young, which doesn't bother me, they were friendly. One cop was sitting by the carrousel looking sweaty and extra bored but I guess he was there in case one of the " rowdy "13 year olds get out of hand? So not to fret, 5-0 is holding it down at castles n coasters. Skydiver- one of the newer rides they have added. A slow climb up and a fast drop. Pretty legit adrenaline rush. Seriously. Magic carpet- Whoever is bigger should ride on the outside, your hips will become fused together with whoever you're riding with once the ride gets going. Way better than a tilt a whirl! I totally love the log ride too :) Desert storm and the patriot- didn't remember them being so rickety and janky! some of the twists and turns seemed a little toooo close to the track with not much room for clearance but I think that's part of the fun. Sea dragon- I am too old for that sh-t!! I used to love this ride but dang, I felt vertigo coming on. Bring a gas mask for the bumper boats! My ankles felt like they were on fire from the exhaust of the motor but it was super fun since there was hardly anyone else in the water. Know what you're getting into. I love Six Flags and Cedar Point, this can't really be compared to those, obviously, but just for something fun to do we had a great time! I will be zip lining next time.
