  • Stopped in the Lancaster highway location today for lunch. Purchased a Groupon to soften the blow. We walked in after the lunch rush and the place was completely empty. Something we do not have a problem with at all. The waiter was pleasant enough. I ordered the soup of the day, which was chicken and it was awesome. My entree was breaded steak, tostones, rice and beans. The steak lacked a flavor, but it may be because Peruvians use lots of sauces as compliments with their cuisine. The beans and rice were very tasty. My wife ordered the grilled steak, maduros and rice and beans. Once again the steak lacked flavor. In our opinions. If this location wasn't so out of the way for us, I could see maybe stopping in for takeout. But otherwise than that, not sure if we would visit pio pio again
