  • The 3rd Friday of each month, the studios have an open house from 5-9 pm. I highly recommend going to browse the art, have some tasty food and enjoy some beer or wine. Spice Kitchen & Bar has a stand named the Spice Box. We ordered the walleye chowder, squash & apples, and the steak sandwich ~ All delicious and very reasonably priced. They posted a picture of our order on Twitter, here is a link: https://twitter.com/SpiceKAndB/status/655143052701511684 I would gladly eat the squash and apples every day for a healthy dessert. There was also a food truck outside for more options. Several galleries, plus Spice had wine and beer available for donations. Besides browsing the arts and crafts, it was great fun to people watch as all walks of life were in attendance. Tip: The studio has a rental area for private events, in case you are in need. P.S.
