  • We stay at the Mandalay Bay quite a bit. Hands down the best pool out there. Family friendly without being a crazy ass circus. Delano is Mandalay Bay's all suite, non gaming hotel located on the same property. It's pretty much a separate tower. I like the rooms here better than Mandalay Bay. They're bright and full of light. The living room is actually quite large and has a separate powder room. There is a full couch and another 2 chairs. Not bad for a standard room. The bedroom is standard, but clean and roomy. The bathroom is typical of Las Vegas standards: large tub, dual sinks, separate shower, separate toilet room, and a TV. The cafe in the Delano, Delia's, is really very good. We've had breakfast here a few times and it doesn't disappoint. I prefer this cafe over the offerings at Mandalay. It is pricey, but everything in the hotel is. The only inconvenience is that the Delano is quite far from the pool area and the convention area. We usually take a short cut through the parking garage to get to the other side of Mandalay Bay. We just recently found out that Delano is pet friendly so you can bring your furry family members. There is a tiny grassy area, just to the right of the parking garage, where they can do their thing. It's nice to know there are options besides the Cosmopolitan.
