  • Driving this morning and saw Rise & Shine a steak & egg place, since I had not had breakfast yet I checked out the menu online, it looked inviting so I decided to give it a try. I am glad I did, fortunately it was not packed yet so my first visit quite calm. A lot of that is due to the relaxed atmosphere, but still the customer is priority. I got sat facing the open kitchen which for me ( picky about the way the food is handled & who is preparing it ) was not off putting. The fun thing is that the servers wear pajamas. Pricing is consistent with similar restaurants, but the food I think was quite a bit better. Asked for my steak well done and unlike a lot of well done steaks I have received this one had a great char on the outside but was still tender enough on the outside ( no hockey puck here ). Service was excellent from the hostess all the way through and including bus help. I highly recommend coming here and this will now be my go to breakfast place.
