| - Why 4 stars? Because it was lovely, but just a tick off.

Much like my review of the Houston Centurion Lounge, I feel weird giving a lounge anything other than 5-stars. Free food, drinks and comfortable seating equals pretty much an automatic 5-star review for me. But what pushes this one (and Houston) down to 4 is comparing them to the other Centurion Lounges.
Side note, but an important one:
Landing in the C terminal and finding your way to D is not an easy process. This is not the fault of the Centurion Lounge, but it is worth noting. If you land at C, do not follow the signs to all other gates. In fact, do the opposite of what they say. Just continue to walk further into C gate oblivion until, apparently, you've reached the other side of the world. There, you'll find a tram that takes you to D. I definitely wished I had that information before my trip to LAS, because I spent a silly amount of time wandering around, following signs that were labeled incorrectly.
But back to the Centurion review...
Once I arrived here, all was forgiven. I had just come from SFO, where I enjoyed breakfast in the Centurion Lounge there, but was ready for that weird lunch, that was also essentially dinner since I was heading back to Florida and would be landing very late.
Right off the bat, I was hit with a curve ball that wasn't ideal. "We had a power outage a few days ago, and that WiFi has been out ever since."
I understand, stuff happens. I also understand that I happened to visit during an unfortunate time, because I'm sure the WiFi has properly functioned 99% of the days since this lounge has opened. But it was just such a bummer, because I definitely had a lot of work to do, and specifically planned my trip with a long layover here. I ended up using my phone as a hot spot, but that obviously was not ideal. Plus, a power outage affecting WiFi for days? The math doesn't seem right with that.
But now, for the main reason I am giving a 4-star review... the food. While definitely fancier than any non AMEX lounge I've been to, I just didn't love it. My fellow Centurion-enthusiast, Chris W, said the food was phenomenal when he visited, so I'm sure this is another one I could just chalk up to bad timing. But it was all just collectively a bit of a let-down.
With that being said, I'd gladly lay over here again in the future, just to visit this lounge again. I'm confident my 2nd visit would merit a 5th star update. Everything else was very on par with the excellence I've come to discover with Centurion.
