  • New to the phx area. I was getting my piggies done, trying out a new nail place when I noticed Karen, the owner of Desert Spa Nails. Her hair was absolutely adorable. There are a million salons in the area so I asked her where she gets her hair done. She told me to see Kathryn at Taglio. She also said apologetically that her hair looked "crazy" today since its been ten weeks since she had seen Kathryn. I repeat...IT DID NOT LOOK CRAZY. It looked perfect, freshly cut. Fast forward, I saw Kathryn the next day(what luck) and she is worth every penny. I let her browse my Pinterest pins on different hair styles and she was able to pull common themes from all of my pics and translate them to my type of hair, my styling experience, and my lifestyle(read: I have three young children and a full time job). If you have an eye for great hair cuts and "get" the nuisances of what makes the difference between and good haircut and an outstanding one, you need to see Kathryn.
