| - Just to put it into one word. Wow.
Experienced with a variety of massage techniques like Swedish, and deep tissue, Michele is as knowledgeable about massage as they come, but even more importantly she's very kind and personable. Before you even get on the table, she takes the time to listen to what kind of work you're looking to have done and where, and then calmly explains where on you're body she'll focus on and what kind of massage she'll give. In the past I've had experiences at other places like Massage Envy, and the biggest problem with them is that they rarely listen to any requests you make about areas of the body you want to focus on, or the amount of pressure you'd prefer, and then they tend to cut you short on your time. Not with Michele.
I have a partial disc herniation in my back and along with physical therapy, light massage helps to greatly reduce the pain. Like a lot of other people, I also spend a lot of time at the keyboard, so my shoulders, arms, and neck are very tense and usually need a lot of pressure to work through. Michele is the only massage therapist I've met that took the time to listen to my request and could focus on my back with light massage, then seamlessly change to a deep tissue high-pressure massage on my shoulders and neck.
She's wonderful to work with and does an amazing job creating a relaxing and enjoyable experience by dimly lighting the room and even accompanying your massage with relaxing low-key world music. She's also great with privacy and doesn't mind if you're shy and want to leave your shirt on. (Not that I care, but it's nice to know).
All this for almost half what I was paying before. I simply cannot recommend her enough, and can guarantee you'll have one of the best massages of your life!
