| - I have frequented this carwash for almost 12 years now. Over the years I knew one thing...didn't matter who was working the window, they were always so friendly and enthusiastic. Because I've seen workers come and go, the scale has dropped and not quite the same. Don't get me wrong...they aren't lousy, just isn't the same.
What isn't the same is the wash! They have been raising prices and I swear the wash gets crappier and crappier. The vacuums suck...no, they don't suck. Literally. For the most part...the vacuums are pretty weak. I can visit 20 times and may get a good suck about 2x. Hahahha.
The most expensive wash is now 15 bucks. That is a serious price to pay considering the person who brushes your car down looks like he isn't even trying, and the wash is weak where you gotta scratch off tiny debris, bugs, bird dookie, etc...not to mention you dry your car yourself. I've experienced soap suds still pouring down when I pull in to park so I can dry my car. I've driven out thinking when the hell does this car wash goes under its own wash?! The only perk to this package is the "free" large cup that you can get filled at their gas station. But majority of the times I don't want or need it...I just would like my car to get washed.
While I understand this is a self-service wash and shouldn't expect much, but at 15 bucks? I'd rather pay that amount plus tip and then some for a wash up the road where they vacuum your car for you, wipe it dry, and even wipe your inside for about the same or a few dollars more. I don't recommend paying 15 bucks unless you don't care and alls you want to do is roll in then roll out. If your car is fairly clean and you just want to do a weekly wash down and all you need is the bare minimum wash package...that'd be the time I'd say go for it. If you have no kids to dirty up your insides and it's basically just you in there and you need to vacuum your car and there isn't much to vacuum...that'd be the other time I'd say go for it.
2 stars just for the convenience and for their pina cold air freshener. Lol.
