After working in the Providence Plaza shopping center for 3 years (and being a frequent patron to this day), I had been dying for a new vendor to occupy the former Smoothie King space in the plaza. Now that Flywheel Sports has made this complex their home, many of my fellow Flywheel friends have been looking for a quick fix after a grueling class. Unfortunately, a Chipotle burrito bowl or even a delicious Poppy's Bagel doesn't feel great after a sweat session.
Recently, Juice Bar arrived and I have finally secured a place to grab something nutritious and clean for a fair price and short commute from my Cotswold home.
Their menu is pretty straight forward, mainly consisting of juices (go figure) and smoothies. There is a cooler with some grab and go items (think hummus/veg plate, small sides of healthy salads, etc). I've had the pleasure of trying some juices and smoothies and they've been tasty and very fresh.
There are a few tables for seating. The queue is a little odd - if the line gets longer than a few people, the crowd sometimes spills into the seating area. Then you have the issue of rubbing up on people who are trying to enjoy their juice which is slightly awkward.
Overall, nice place to grab a healthy fix and go. I wish that they were open on Sundays (a staple day in my Flywheel workout routine). There was a line of about 10 people standing outside trying to figure out if they were open on Sundays... no dice.
