So where to begin. I had my first visit with the service department at Tempe Hyundai (Auto Nation). I found out how well they live up to their pledge. I brought my vehicle in for what I would consider a transmission issue. Keep in mind my car is six weeks old with less than 4000 miles on it. I had my car test driven by no less than the Service Director and another employee. Both employees concluded that there was a malfunction with my car. They both initially said they would not fix it or have it repaired. The reason being: they would have to exceed 65 miles an hour speed limit to replicate the issue on hand. Keep in mind there are speed limits in Arizona that exceed 65 MPH. (A dealership who sells sports cars that cannot test sports cars?) Before I argued the point, they were willing to send me off in a car that they both knew had safety concerns. As I augured the point the "other employee" grew dumb and tried to renege his statement that there was an issue with the car (he called the issue a "rev limiter issue"). Please be aware I have a 2015 Veloster Turbo. I guess the vehicle's malfunction is an outlier. Please be aware if anyone drives this type of vehicle and has a lead foot, maybe your children, they may also have this issue. It may cause them to lose control of the vehicle at high speeds!!!
