  • I love this place!! I took my both my kids once to give my wife a few hours to herself, and we stayed so long, she called me looking for us cause had been there for 7 hours. I taken them both back many times. Everyone is super knowledge able, and they definitely know their games. We have even purchased a few games we have played there, and gotten my wife into board games. It's also nice, because my son and I can go play the more expensive board games (Star Wars Rebellion) and not have to buy a copy of our own. Timm greets us every time and could not be nicer. Even made my daughter feel comfortable the first time we went, because she realized she was by far the youngest person there (at the time she was 8). By the end of the day, she was asking Timm for get suggestions herself, and he was always right. We continue to go back every few weeks, and for events. Board games are a great way for me to spend time with my kids, and to teach them good gamesmanship. That it's not always about winning, but how you win or lose. Also, it's fun to see my daughter beat her older brother at a game. He could use the lesson in humility.
