Hate to give this place a bad review. Clinton seemed like a nice guy.
My iPad got ran over by multiple cars when I found it lying in the middle of the road. Accidentally left it sitting at the roof of my car while buckling up my kids. I was in desperate search of a good & reliable apple repair shop and found this place. Thanks to its 5 star rating, we decided to try iMergency. My iPad was still very functional except for the screen shattered in a million pieces and unresponsive home button.
Was given a quote of $180 for the screen repair & extra $10 for the home button replacement. I was quoted $150 by another place but since I really trusted the reviews from this place, I took the chance. I was told that the touch ID wouldn't work anymore which wasn't a big deal as long as i get a responsive home button.
Clinton was nice enough to give me updates about my ipad but he couldn't seal it all. A week & a half passed, my husband picked up the device & was shocked he was looking at a taped down ipad with some kind of filling in between the screen and device itself. We were so bummed about it! iPad still worked great it just looked awful taped up like that. Another thing was the screen wasn't properly aligned that the front camera was also off. (See pictures.) Clinton did not mention our ipad would be taped and would have that thin. Just said he will try his best to seal it. This was his best.
Your experience could be much different than mines but iMergency just didn't cut it for me. Who knows who might've been able to save my ipad. Obviously this place is good because of all these 5 star reviews but i was disappointed my ipad wasn't fixed 100%.
