  • Elton sounded amazing and was full of energy, the band was great, and the stage itself was incredible. I personally think he sounds better now than ever - put this side by side with "Live in Australia with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra" in 1987 and tell me which sounds better. The man is a master. The videos shown on the screen behind the stage could use a slight bit of updating, but the lighting and stage itself really need to be seen to be believed. As someone that has only seen concerts at venues that can't invest in a massive stage production (because they need to be moved from city to city), seeing something like the Million Dollar Piano in Vegas was a real treat. I hope he adds more Vegas dates in the summer, it would definitely lure me back to Caesar's Palace! I can't recommend this show enough. The only knock is the drink prices at the Colliseum (which are comically outrageous) but I can't subtract a star for that ;)
