My wife and I came up for a night to celebrate our anniversary. We generally come once a month and usually stay at the Aria where they are awesome.
We checked in and the front desk lady was very pleasant and talked us into an upgraded room to see the great fountains, told us what channel to turn to so we could listen to the music while we watched and we would love the view since it was our for time in their hotel. We were excited and accepted to pay the upgrade. In fact, nine years ago before we were married, we took a picture in front the fountains and thought it would be great to take one from the top of the hotel.
By the time we got to our room 15 minutes later it was past midnight and the fountains stopped playing. We woke up and tried to watch but unfortunately the fountains don't start until noon which is one hour past checkout. Since we are only here for one night, we aren't getting to see the fountains from our room.
We are disappointed because we spent money to see something that was never going to happen during our stay. We would have just paid for a normal room since we were just here for a few hours.
I called the front desk to explain my disappointment and all the said was you still got a lake view even though the fountains weren't playing. The girl who answered the phone wouldn't even patch me to a manager. Just kept putting me on hold.
The room was nice, but service is what I rate and Bellagio has failed us on our first trip to their hotel. Its apparent our MLife status doesn't mean anything at this hotel. We will stick to Aria who treats us as a valuable customer.
Disappointed and won't be returning or recommending this hotel to others.
