  • Finding amchoor powder isn't the easiest thing to do in the North Hills but it's clear that India Market is the place to go. They have it all, and more - homemade Samosa, homemade Galoob Jamun, homemade Jalebis, you get the point... Even better that the dessers is the man that works at India Market. He had me taste all his homemade treats and made me chai. Even in 95 degree heat, chai tea is delish. The store moved from the old location on three degree road because it was held up and the poor guy was shot. Needless to say, I stayed to finish my tea and listen to his story. I also ended up buying a lot more that I initially expected, but mostly because the man was so sweet, and I'm a sucker. This is the closest place to head to when you need your indian spices - do it!
