  • Wife: best cheese platter EVVVVVVER! If you know wife you know how she said it. Took some friends: one is a picky eater and he ate nearly everything. Hell, our two large butts even got full. A Rick Moonen restaurant, but it seems like he really wanted to have fun. His wife decorated it. It is a steam punk, Dracula den, with super nice waitresses that genuinely seemed happy to be working there. The drinks: fun as hell. Professor Fockblocker killed it and it was GREY in color. Like 50 shades of delicious. The fruity drink for 2 done table side was delicious even if wife did squirm when bartender said "egg whites". The food: we ordered so much and couldn't finish it. That never happens with us, maybe we tried to be less piggy in front of guests. Chicken pot pie nuggets: fried. Hot. Creamy. Gravy. How could it be bad? Cheese platter: 5 mounds of cheese. All perfect. Honey a great accompaniment. Brussels sprouts: shredded and roasted with lots of nuts. Came so late in meal that we didn't really eat them. Mac and cheese: made with wagon wheels macaroni jalapeños and bacon that is always a perfect combination. duck cold feet poutine (hahaha auto correct: Duck Confit): duck gravy lots of duck meat placed on pillowy delicious tater tots and dabbled with salty cheese curds. I chose to eat most of this and give up other choices. I will come here every time for this while wife is at Paul Mitchell. Cookies: these were no longer on the menu but my wife asked for them and they made them. They came in the middle of the meal and they were gone before we even finished our entrées. House Smoked mozzarella fried cheese sticks: The cold smoke was absolutely amazing in that fried crunchy deliciousness. I was sad that I actually had to share. Big Ass Chips and Guacamole: them some big ass chips and they were damn good. Buffalo fried oyster: super creamy under a great tempura fry and smothered in spicy and vinegary buffalo sauce. Cost: all that for $150 dollars. Totally worth it. Would we come back? hell yes We would.
