Trying to find vintage on Queen St West is a pretty easy feat. However, I'm not sure Black Market is the best place for that. They've got awesome printed tees in nice solid colours and heavy fabrics which are great and unique but their vintage section is either so over-picked or their buyers can't tell what's in style. Their dresses are ridiculously frumpy (I once found a Mrs. Claus dress here, I kid you not) and the sweaters are fuzzy messes. For a "trendy" vintage shop, I've honestly seen better selection in suburban Value Villages. Black Market is still a "hot spot" but just because of their prior reputation.
The whole store is $10 but don't be fooled, many of their items should not even be valued as that. The reason I'm giving Black Market 3 stars is because of their frequent $1.99 t-shirt sales where I've scored some fun printed tees I brought back home to cut and crop. My most worn jacket was also a find here and $10 for a basically new and not to mention genuine army jacket is pretty special!
Worthy anecdote: I was wearing the aforementioned jacket waiting for a bus at a terminal when an old, intoxicated hippie passed by me wearing the exact same jacket. Rock on.
