This company ran our credit to install solar panels on our home. We got approved. Measurements and drawings completed. Date set up for solar panel installation comes.. we passed both inspections and in about 2 weeks everything will be turned on from NV Energy! Guess what? Since the first day of the solar panels being placed on our roof, we informed Vivint Solar about the Pigeons on our roof. The manager approves the netting/animal guard to be placed around our panels. The techs came to install the animal guards and NEVER completed it. There's about 4 openings or so and Pigeons got up under and nested. Now we have a family of these disease infested birds living, breeding, and pooping on our roof! Our son has Asthma and I called Vivint Solar Corporate office. Our complaint was prior to our service ticket #5823926 so back in late December 2017. Ticket opened to remove the animals and properly place animal guards as previously asked. There is still no resolution. We keep getting the push-off saying that a committee is reviewing the approval. We also have two referrals who both got approved that one of them also has a Pigeon problem. Our neighbor told us that Vivint Solar has NOT returned any phone calls to him for over two weeks!!! If this is how their service is now, and they have crappy techs doing incomplete work, then why should you do business with them if this is how Vivint Solar responds to problems imagine how it will be when your service is turned on? My husband and I have not been pleased through this process and we are the nicest people you could ever meet! We do not recommend this company as they have not corrected a problem that was created by them in which all the work was already APPROVED to do by a manager.
Do yourselves a favor and go with another company. Otherwise you will be dealing with the same customer service we are and Pigeons will invade your home. One Pigeon produces 25 lbs of feces in a year. We have a family living on our roof since they were installed. NOTHING done by Vivint Solar.... see the attached pictures... one of the babies fell from the roof and got into our garage. Zoom in on the pictures and you will see the techs did not complete the animal guard as requested.
