It's unfortunate that my only option for Internet is Cox in my area. I had an appointment scheduled today from 3PM-5PM to have my service transferred to my new address. 5:15PM comes around, and no one has shown up nor have I received a phone call. So instead of waiting around, wasting my time, I called Cox to find out what was going on. The response I received was that the technician showed up, but didn't have a gate code to get into my apartment complex. I'll admit that I'm not the smartest guy on the planet, but you'd think that I don't live in the only apartment complex with security gates and a gate code.... Maybe a phone call??? Nope, didn't even get that. I'm pretty upset that I wasted two hours of my day, so I ask to speak with a Manager to share my experience. I was told there was an hour wait just to speak with a Manager. Seriously???? I'm not sure how a company of its size can't seem to do business right. My advice would be to chose a different provider if it's an option. A company that values the time of their customers, otherwise plan on being upset and your time wasted.
