  • I seriously have a love-hate relationship with New Ho King. During my years as a student, I ordered devoutly from New Ho King as they offered cheap take-out at 2am and the portion sizes were huge. That being said, I always had a problem with the service because it's probably the worst service you can get. The person who answers the phone is always super rude, and the delivery people aren't any better. The last time we ordered, it took 2.5 hours for us to receive our food, so we only tipped $5 (which isn't bad at all for a $20 order). I gave the delivery man $30 and asked for $5 back, and he seemed really angry at the $5 tip. Then he swore at us and spat at my door, which really borderlines harassment. Long story short, New Ho King is good if you want late night take-out for a reasonable price, but be prepared for the bad service (and have change so you never have to ask for change back!)
