  • I am very unhappy with the experience I had at the Salon at this location! I walked in and inquired about an apt for a slight trim to the back of my hair as I am in the process of letting it grow out. The clerk said yes she could see me, her name was Andrea. I sat in the chair showed her a photo of my desired cut/trim and she said no problem. During my conversation with her in the wash bowl I talked about the time it's taken me to gain the length I have etc. and I just want to look as if I have a style while I am continuing my grow-out. When I sat in the chair she started to cut (the back of my hair) and then pulled out the buzzers and continued to cut more and more!!!! I should have said something yet, I was in shock I think! Then, to my surprise when I finally had the mirror in hand and could see the back of my head I had been scalped!!!!!! I have bald spots where she got a little carried away with the buzzers. They were charging me $47 when I disputed the charge they dropped it to $37 then I see on this site it states $35!!! This makes me even more irate! I COULDN'T get out of there fast enough in hopes of getting home and praying to somehow see a different reflection in the mirror! No such luck, needless to say, I didn't! Actually the reflection was far worse as I realized that in order to fix this I was going to have no choice but have the rest of my hair cut to somehow match! I called the store asked for the Manager, Trish who attempted to tell me how great Andrea was and how surprised she was as Andrea is a "Master Stylist". I told her that I wasn't paying for this disaster and would come in the following day for a refund. The whole evening I was forced to wear a hat as I had an event and couldn't get in on a Saturday to see anyone else to attempt to correct this mess!!! Refunding me $37 does nothing considering the time and energy I have underwent the last 6 months with my hair to end up with some amateur chopping me like a head of lettuce!!!! When I came in the following day to have my card refunded the manager couldn't even come out and talk to me but, rather had the clerk just refund my money! The clerk asked what had happened, I took off my hat and she said in a (polite manner) that I should try a wig!!! She continued to tell me that Andrea isn't a master stylist but, actually just started working there and is very new! I am furious and I can't believe that I am in this situation! I will never shop at Ulta again for simple principle. This has been a nightmare experience and obviously they are not only amateurs but, unable to assume responsibility! Time for a new staff and a Manager who is empathetic to your consumers concerns!
