  • Looking for a great time and great food? Then look no further. This is my secret weapon for any "upscale" occasion. Whether it be date night or entertainment for an out of towner, Crave is where its at! I have been coming here since it has opened in 2009 and it is about time I have reviewed it. Its funny because I try and come here for every occasion, but my wallet wouldn't like that very much. It always comes to mind though, and I usually have to settle for something less. With that being said, I am so glad for the times that I can come here. Most recently, I brought my sister and partner. We wanted something "sweet" uptown, so of course this was the first place I thought of! Something I have learned, is that this place gets very packed on the weekends. Therefore, I called ahead of time to see how the wait was. Thank GOD it was still early, and there were plenty of seats. As we entered we were greeted by two young females and the manager who checked our ID's. The atmosphere was amazing like always. Semi-loud Indie/House music with beautiful paintings throughout the dinning room. Great for anyone 18 to 40. Although, anyone could appreciate their menu! We started off by ordering our drinks and a HOOKAH. Yes, this place is also a hookah bar! I would even go as far as saying Charlotte's best hookah spot. My table decided on the blueberry vanilla hookah. For the drinks, I got the Tongue Twerker and my partner got the Flower Child. Both were delicious and only $5 on special. Thats not all though, no no! We also got an appetizer and dessert. We decided on the lettuce wraps and The Victorian dark chocolate cake. OMG it was all so good! The service is spectacular and I always have a great time when I visit. It is nice to get out and see a part of Charlotte that is always trending. There is an "exclusive" feel about this place. Even the bathrooms are super sheik and modern. Honestly, I love everything about it. The best part is, I got 15% off on my table for checking in on Yelp. Please check this place out if you haven't already!
