  • Derek at Clarity Pools did an awesome job at reviving our pool. Prior to us purchasing this home, some other pool company thought we were on salt water and they dumped a bunch of salt in our pool plus our calcium levels were extremely high. We took a water sample to NPS and they said we needed to drain our pool. Being a lake lover I couldn't drain 15,000 gallons of water in to the street during the summer and we're on a septic tank system. We are also on a well system as well so we would have to truck in water. To truck in water it would've cost us the same price to have the reverse osmosis done. We talked to the guy at NPS and he said we had another option and he recommended clarity pools. They are the only company in Las Vegas that can do reverse osmosis. I started to do my research online to find out if I should drain the pool or do the reverse osmosis. Turns out city water has high calcium content. Our pool wasn't holding chlorine due to all the TDS and high calcium. We would dump 2 gallons of chlorine a week and the algae would still show. We were constantly scrubbing and vacuuming our pool. After a week of doing research we decided to go with reverse osmosis. When Derek came to pick up his trailer he showed my husband our levels and he got our calcium a little lower than 100 and our TDS levels were less than 300. (our original calcium level was 700 and TDS was at 6848) It's been a few days since the reverse osmosis was done, and my pool guy came and restarted our pool. All I can say is WOW, our pool is blue, water is crystal clear, water doesn't taste salty, its accepting the chlorine, not a single green algae in sight and even our calcium ring around our tile is slow disappearing. I would have to say this reverse osmosis deal WORKS! I would definitely recommend this company and service to all my friends and family and fellow yelpers. Derek was on time, very friendly and courteous, his reverse osmosis trailer was like a chemistry lab on wheels! If I can give him and his company 100 stars I would. Thanks guys for the great job you did.
