You have never done anything like this.
Well, unless you normally go armed into the pitch black unknown hoping to shoot rapidly moving zombies. Can't say that I have.
First thing is you are helped into the experience by professionals. They have honed their presentation. You are given a crash course in combat operations with a taste of what our heroes have to go through across the pond. They are legit.
This isn't the haunted house at universal studios. It is interactive. You will use real shooting airsoft rifles. You are kitted up like they are. The operatives then walk you through a quick demonstration on how to clear a building so that you don't go out there and shoot each other or run into a wall. Although I might want to accidentally shoot a certain manager who lucky is in my stack. That's another story.
Zombies are real people. Or used to be. Or actually are real actors in this situation. And they come out of nowhere. It adds a lot to the fog of war. Yes. There is fog. And explosions. And running corpses. No one was on fire though.
Is it for everyone?
Who should do this?
Physically if you can walk around and aim a rifle then you can do it. I saw old folks and little kids in there with me. Zombies don't shoot back either so you are fine.
This is a great team building event. Stuff like this provides great comradery and story time after the fact. Business should look at this for team building.
DO IT.
