  • My gas fireplace had not worked in the two years that I have lived in my home. I had some friends try to fix it to no avail and they told me that I needed to call someone who knows more. So I looked on Yelp and found Charlie/Advance Gas Fireplace Repair. I called him to make an appointment and he was pretty quick to call me back and made an appointment with in a week. He arrived on time for his appointment and was very polite. I showed him the fireplace and explained what all we have done and he went straight to work. He was able to fix the problem and clean up the fireplace in about an hour. He went out of his way to clean the glass on both sides and he even went so far as to add some sand with my approval to give the fireplace a more finished and appealing look. He explained that since it hadn't worked in a while it will have a funny smell the first few times I use it and gave me some advice on maintenance and upkeep. I feel that the price was definitely fair. He was very professional and polite and it was an overall great experience. I am so bummed that I waited so long to call him!
