  • The service is the worst! I ordered dinner while my husband and I waited for some friends before a show. I received an entree that I didn't order, and it took 25 minutes for the correct order to come out. We asked for the check because the line for the show was getting longer, and we wanted to make sure we got good seats (which is why we were there early in the first place). It took 15 minutes for the bartender to get around to printing the check, even though there were only three other people at the bar. He was talking to the other bartender and putting away glasses. My husband went to talk to the manager, because by this point it appears that we won't be able to get good seats because we've been waiting so long at the bar. When my husband tells the manager that we need our check right away, for food that was incorrect in the first place, the manager says "Sorry. There's nothing I can do." WTF?!? Seriously?? If you manage, or have managed a similar venue in the past, I am eager to be educated on the reasons why the manager wasn't able to do anything. As someone who hasn't worked in the hospitality industry, I don't understand what the barriers were that prevented the manager from walking over to the bar and asking the bartender to please print the check right away. Please comment and help me understand this better! Also, the quality of the food is terrible. But wait, is that a fair judgement? After all, this is a comedy club! Yes, that is a fair judgement because the Tempe Improv and StandUp Live both have good food. And good service. Go to either, or both, of those venues for a good food and good service. Skip this place.
