  • BLUF: A well maintained affordable beginners Golf Course. This is a great course to learn how to play the game at a decent price. It's nestled away in a quiet area thats not far from the airport allowing for those, like myself, who are visiting on an overnight for work to play a quick easy game...BUT keep in mind if there's good weather count on the place being crowded with plenty of dad's introducing their children to the game. I recommend making a reservation in advance. Clubhouse: Small, well maintained with comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. Professional and nice staff will get you set to play however, there's nothing to eat other than prepackaged snacks so fill up before coming or bring something while waiting on your tee time. Ranges: Unfortunately theres no driving, sand or chipping range/areas but there is a small putting green behind the clubhouse that is useful while waiting to tee off. Fairways: This is only a 9-hole course but there are three Par 4 holes (1, 5 and 9) that require use of a driver. Still you can possibly use an iron at the start of hole 9, if you want to play it safe (hint). There's no slope or water hazards to contend with nor are there too many concerns for dealing with a thick difficult rough. The Tee Boxes well cared for including the Red Tee areas and the fairways are extremely well cared for especially considering the basic level of this course. Greens: Generously sized on some holes and moderate on others. Regardless they're all well cared for and have a medium speed with no breaks, flat and smooth. The apron surrounding the greens are also quite forgiving as I putted off of the apron a few times with no inhibition on my putt. Sand Traps: Only four holes have sand traps with two of them behind the greens. All of them have low bunker height and allowing ease exit. Overall: I've heard it's one of the best beginner/basic courses but since I've only been to this one I'll keep it at an A-OK rating because there's no practice range.
