  • This is a special place. It's not often today that one can dine in a small "mom and pop" restaurant. One is readily made to feel welcome and comfortable here. How delightful. There are not many tables or booths, so on a busy night like Saturday, you may have to wait a bit. No problem. I was ready to give this place 5 stars before I'd even ordered. So, how was the food? Well, just let me say it's a bit above average. Our spaghetti was NOT al dente - unforgivable, really, in an Italian restaurant. And our waitress, a lovely person, failed to bring us dinner rolls (they were on most other tables). Well, it's not like she does this every day - WAIT, she DOES do this every day. So, although I'd love to give this place 5 stars, the food and service were both 3 1/2 stars, so it receives a resounding 4. I still love this place and plan to return when we're in the area again.
