First, I think that my kids review would be different. This is my review as a parent and a customer.
Ubisoft is a Montreal Icon; it is famous and the name brings very high expectations.
Without this name, I might not have been to this place.
When you go there, and especially if you become a member on the first visit, you expect the Montreal Walt Disney.
With Ubisoft technology and knowledge, they could have done great things, they could have done:
- live child tracking with a monitor showing their locations
- real games with the bracelets,
- better entertainment for kids
- pictures connected with bracelets
- saving game results on bracelets
- app for parents to monitor kids progress and suggestions of games and checklists of things to do
Instead, the only Ubisoft thing is the bunny.
The VR is clickbait and there is exactly two stations for 650 kids.
The sand is barely filling the bottom of the tub.
The tablets are regular tablets with nothing special and the game on it is not adapted for the age at all. No kids successfully did something interesting and if they did they could not even save it on their bracelet.
The points for food are impossible to get. The kids have to find a number of plastic toys hidden by the staff and bring them back to the machine. This is the only points I have seen.
The balls to throw on the bunnies do not give any points and you cannot even know your score.
So basically this is a daycare with some games and more then 300 kids.
Ubisoft, please make this better and I will change my review.
