There is a bit of walking for the first hour than the trail starts to get fun as you come across big boulders. You can make the hike a bit more challenging by choosing to climb boulders along the way rather than walking along the preexisting path.
bring lots of water, snacks, extra change of shoes. its close to impossible to keep your feet dry on this hike.
You meet the Colorado river at the end of the trail so bring a bathing suit if you plan on taking a dip.
