This family friendly farm has something for everyone. I don't have children but my friends and I go out every year to the Berry Festival in early June and the Pumpkin Festival in October. Last year they added Pick your Own Apples. It is brilliant. Apples right off the tree and into your hands.
There are a lot of activities for children, bounce houses and pony rides on the festival weekends and a playground and animals year round. Hay rides will take you out to the field to the fruit of the season.
There is a food barn which sells both food with the major fruit as theme and also standards such as Pepperoni rolls and popcorn and even breakfast during the recent Berry Festival. It is prepackaged mostly but still tastly and well priced.
The Farm store has a lot to offer. Filled with homemade jams, and compotes and salsas and syurps. Mixes for soups and breads and cobblers and all sorts of delcious foods. There is homemade baked good for sale as well as delicious fudge. An assortment of thier farms fruits and veggies and Amish meats, cheeses and butters.
This is a lovely little farm, not too far outside of the city and well worth going to no matter what your age. We will be going back in a few weeks for Pick-your-Own Raspberries!
