  • OH NO! GROOVY CLOSED! I was visiting family in Pittsburgh and tried to go to Groovy, but they were closed up. The sign had been painted over and the windows were completely covered with what looked to be flyers about conspiracy theories. This was a cool place with a lot of great stuff. It will be missed. Unfortunately, I think too many people think of a place like this as a musuem rather than a store -- they come in, ooh and ahh over all of the toys from their childhood and leave without buying anything. You've got to buy something if you want and awesome place like this to survive. Think of it as the admission price to the museum.
