  • I rented a 2017 Roadglide Ultra from them for the bike fest. The bike had 30000 miles on and run like crap. But that's not the problem.. the problem is the customer service.. I was in contact with emails with them( I guess the rental manager) who sounded like a very professional person and I'm sure he is but I can't say that for the girl that works at the rental counter. I got an email from the rental manager in response to some questions and concerns that I had at the time. I asked for an early booking discount which I didn't get because that help me to secure the bike and I'm fine with that. The guy was kind enough to give me a $20.00 discount or the daily rate for the bike. $145.00 instead of $165.00 per day since I was working for Windycity HD Rentals Couple of days after I called them and I paid the FULL amount over the phone at the rate of 165.00 per day. I told the person on the phone that I have that price and she told me not to be worried just when I come and pick up the bike just show the person on the counter the email.. When the day came to pick up the bike there what's this girl on the counter(I don't remember her name) Right if the bat she started to talk over me trying to sell me the insurance ( which I do not need) and when I asked for the price of $145.00 she told me that she need proof of me that I'm employed with Windy City HD. What proof? My manager had to call her manager.. Now her manager was on vacation!!! She was very very rude!! I had very hard time just to say a work because I was constantly interrupted from her!! Also she told me that the only way she could give me the price that I was promised was for me to take the insurance!!( suddenly managers are not involved) also I have to say to be fair that when I came to pick up the bike I was no longer and employee for the WindyCity HD. That was a very bad experience! I would be ashamed if I had employees like her or if I provide "customer service" like that! I will never recommend Las Vegas Harley-Davidson rentals to anyone! That includes my ex co-workers and customers at WindyCity Harley-Davidson Rentals. Ps $40.00 will not make me richer or poorer. It's about the customer service and the rental experience.
