  • I still love this place. Just wanted to give some people information after reading some reviews. This place is the original bakery opened by the two owners, Chris and Rosanne. After a few years Rosanne opened Bang Bang, and Chris opened a place called Home, on Bloor but further west than Bakerbots. Also, a very cool story about the owner Chris (he's an awesome musician!): http://torontoist.com/2012/01/local-bakery-owners-demo-mistaken-for-radiohead-single/ Carrot cake is one of my favourite desserts, and hands down Bakerbots has the best I've ever had. Perfectly moist, not too sweet, not too (or too little) much cream cheese icing. Simple but amazingly good. Also, they make their own ice cream, which is excellent. Try going midday if you don't want a long line.
