  • If you decide to go to Seven Lives for their amazing tacos, of course it'd make sense to go across the street and try their frozen goods at the Paleteria. That's exactly what I did a couple days ago on a hot day. I saw many people mention the Dole Whip on Yelp, and this review will be based on solely this highly-mentioned dessert. For $4 the portion was immense! It suppressed my icecream cravings for the rest of the day and was extremely filling. It tastes exactly like the Dole pineapple snack packs in the plastic cup all blended up with a yogurt-y creaminess. If you're all about it, it's the perfect dessert for you. However, I found it way too sweet and overpowering. I got sick of the flavour after 2 bites, and really needed water to wash it down. The texture though was rich and creamy which I liked. I might come back to try their popsicles and sorbets instead and hopefully can end my experience here on a more positive note.
