  • Pretty disappointing experience. We usually frequent the smaller, specialty donut shops but opted to use DD this time. We had preordered a couple dozen donuts (needed certain donuts) and a box of donut holes (again a certain kind). Now mind you we called the day before to make sure they had the certain donuts since we were going to use them to make a "donut cake" for someone with thier favorite donuts. Went to pick them up and they didn't have the whole order. No real apology just a "uh, oops someone must have given them away, there's another DD on blah blah". And that was that! We were already in a rush but we had to spend an additional 30 min calling and driving to other donut shops to find the rest of the donuts we needed. So clearly calling a day before was pointless because they clearly don't care. Service was beyond poor and considering we don't really think their donuts are that amazing I think we will stick to the smaller shops that actually do focus on service and care about their patrons.
