Bought a great looking used FJ cruiser that me and my wife love from this dealer ~ that was marked with the official Larry Miller Toyota as a Certified Toyota vehicle (which was one of the reasons why we were comfortable buying a used car). Their finance guy sold us really hard (for about 1 hour) on the extended warranty and we ended up taking it.
After a couple of days we called and cancelled the warranty as they told us we could (we have our reasons).
Our surprise came the following day, when the sales guy called us and told us that they had "made a mistake" and the car they had sold us - despite advertising it and selling it as a certified Toyota vehicle, was not Certified Toyota, and we needed to go immediately to have them certify the vehicle.
Understand we live about 40 minutes from the dealer, and this meant about a 2 hour appointment to correct their error (about 4 hours round trip with driving).
To make a really long story short, It took yelling, talking to managers and talking to managers again to get them to agree to give us a loaner car and top off the gas tank (a grand total value of max $30) for me to drive down and spend half a day to correct their error and misrepresentation of the car they sold us!!!
Recap: On the plus side: they fixed their error, but If you buy from them, check ALL the paperwork, they are a pain to work with (sales pressure up the wazuu), and once you hand them money you become their inconvenience... Will NOT do any dealing with this Dealer again.
