  • We've been attending the St. George Festival of the Middle East for 13+ years now. What fun for everyone!!! The food is excellent, and an excellent invitation to Middle Eastern Culture. They have a number of jumping events for children. We've been impressed with how warm/hospitable their whole congregation is. --and when you might not understand some part of Middle Eastern culture, there are so many who are helpful and willing to explain. I've attended a number of the Bible Study classes with Fr. Chris Salamy, and they have been an inspiration. Their "Introduction to Orthodoxy" class is EXCELLENT! If you attend the festival, try to take one of their church tours that will help you to understand Orthodoxy and their worship services. I'm always impressed with the teamwork at their festivals, as the whole congregation pulls together to make the festival a success.
