  • Pros: Ritz-like service unique setting relaxing feel great staff - really excellent nice rooms* Casual elegance - not stuffy Architecture and furnishings Cons: Golf cart taxis - no way around it I suppose, but golf carts ruined it for us. They zip around constantly all day until midnight or even later! Like gnats! Some drivers are courteous and pull over, some slow down, but most of them barrel down the narrow path. I almost was hit once this past weekend by a guy who was distracted and coming around a corner. * Although the fireplace seemed romantic, the chimney did not draw well and the room got smoky. The stone floors look great, but after a day in your bare feet, you start wishing for carpet, hard wood, and tile instead of rock. Pretty sure the adobe look is just that. Not sure but I don't think it should sound hollow when you tap on a real adobe wall. You could hear every little noise. Golf carts, neighbors, conversations out on the path. Expensive - not a problem except when you pay this much, it should be perfect. Sorry, can't recommend it, unless you love golf.... Probably will stay somewhere else next time.
