  • Maybe this was an off day but it was arguably one of the worse places I've gone to. I will agree that we had 11 people in our party, but the place was completely empty when we got there. Even when we left, there were only 3 other tables of 4 people or less. It all starts with the drinks taking about 10 mins to come out after we ordered. Then our plates started coming out(25 mins later) very staggered. My friend's and mine's sides came out 15 minutes before everyone else's meal. Once our food came out, it seemed the chef had overlooked a second order of wings so one person had to wait an extra 10mins. I understand that food lateness is not the server's fault, however; she never went out of her way to ensure us that the food was coming or that they were running behind. She would only let us know when we would get tired of waiting and would go ask at the bar. The seasonal veggies were awesome, but the Cauliflower Bites were pretty atrocious. It seemed they were sitting in oil for too long, or the oil wasn't hot enough because some parts were so saturated with oil(yes, I know they were battered and fried) that I felt that I was applying a layer of chapstick. They would be better suited to just fry seasoned cauliflower pieces and toss them in a sauce like Fern and Bean does. I do give credit where credit is due. My gross cauliflower was taken off the bill as well as fixing a price error on another person's check.
