  • So, for years I've been staying at the HGVC and for years I've been upgraded in to a nicer room because of my hilton status, but now.... And reasons still unclear to me the HGVC charges you for upgrades. No up front communication, no notification/justification, just deal with it. The front desk manager couldn't give me a valid reason, to GM couldn't give me a reason.... But because of this I will forgo any addition plans I have to stay at this location and will make sure that when I come to Vegas I stay at a Hilton branded hotel that respects and treats diamond members with the respect that loyalty that I feel We deserve. It's too bad that the HGVC doesn't operate by Hilton standards, but they have lost me as a regular customer forever.
