  • This was our first trip to Vegas so I don't have much to compare it to by way of Vegas standards, but here's some things I would have thought could have been better. - Check in process was fine. We had to learn a few things on our own...the desk failed to mention if you are on a high floor you need to put your card in the elevator. We asked after getting to the highest floor we could and dragged our bags up five flights of stairs. - We stayed in a Madison, and our view was toward T-Mobile, not the greatest to people watch, but at least our view was obstructed by other buildings so I guess it wasn't too bad. - We had a king bed that came with only two pillows, a sheet, and a cover. We called down to get more pillows, a blanket, and towels. - Room has no refrigerator, which I knew going into it, but still annoying. There wasn't even a room coffee maker, so they really make you pay for everything. - There was a HUGE walk in closet which personally I thought was a waste of space. Probably good if you have children though because it's defiantly big enough for a crib, pack and play, cot, or blow up mattress. - They gave a buy one get one free breakfast at a restaurant downstairs. For two of us getting a plate of food and cup of coffee, it came to $25 total, which I guess isn't terrible in Vegas. We thought about getting the breakfast sandwiches next door, but it ended up being cheaper to sit at the restaurant. - Even though we had a non-smoking room, the floor smelled of stale smoke. I have a high sensitivity to smoke, and wasn't TOO bad in the room, but was smacked with it when you open the door to the hall. If smoke bothers you, make sure to plan appropriately. You clothes will stink after a day in Vegas. All in all it wasn't a terrible stay, but I would have thought a few more in house amenities would have been nice. But then again, that might be standard for the area.
