  • After a tragic car accident my FiancĂ© James Addington found himself in very acute condition, being in a halo for a broken neck South Mountain was only the 2nd place to offer Jimmy a place to heal, the First Sunview allowed him to fall from his bed after 2 hours of being there. I won't lie the first few days at South Mountain was scary, Jimmy 48 found himself helpless and in a nursing home, me and his sister Carrie did our best to insure he had a visit every day for weeks! But there was still time he had to be there alone, and in the beginning it was terrifying, but rest assured if your family member ends up in a life changing situation or long term care this is where you want them!! The staff listened and addressed any concerns immediately! The physical therapy, occupational therapist and speech therapist are all top notch, they allowed Jimmy to find himself again, allowing him to find his humor to push through this tragedy, we still have a long road, but Jimmy was at South Mountain for 1 week short of 3 months!! And tonight his first night home, and I'll admit it's scary again!! But with all of your help I know I'm strong enough and trained enough to met his needs as he continues to heal!! And you have not gotten rid of us! We will be back to volunteer and pay it forward. I would give it 10 stars if I could!!
