The good, the bad and the rude!
The good: was able to obtain an appointment with Dr Wong (she works with Dr Roter) within two days of calling for a reasonable price.
The bad: my appointment was on Monday April 20, 2015. After going thru the exam and testing by Dr Wong. I received my prescription for contacts and glasses.
My contact prescription- my right eye - my vision improved by a whole point. From a -5.00 to a -4.00.
My glasses prescription had an even more miraculous improvement of two points.
I have worn contacts and glasses for 25+ years and NEVER has my eyesight improved.
So I questioned Dr Wong but she insisted that her readings were accurate and gave me a trial pair. The next day I walked into the office because the vision from the right eye was blurry. I wasn't able to been seen until the next day.
The rude: I arrived for my 11:30 Wednesday appointment and was told Dr Roter was running behind. At 12:40pm I finally was called back for the reexamine. Having my prior contact and glasses prescriptions with me, I questioned Dr Roter about Dr Wong's findings. Since he was running late, Dr Roter was extremely rude when after the exam I questioned the great discrepancies in their readings compared to NV Eye & Ear (my prior script).
"Don't interrupt me. I need to input the readings."
Well! RUDE! I think I'm entitled to question the readings of MY eyes when the prescription your employee gives me leaves me with blurry vision!
Would never go back! Having to spend additional money to have a new eye exam done by NV Eye & Ear because I don't trust Dr Roter's readings.
**lost vision insurance so that's why I went to Dr Roter instead of NV Eye & Ear
