  • This zoo has improved a lot since I first moved to the area (decades ago) and we enjoy it so much now, we purchased a membership and visit very often. We like to start on the paths to the left after you go in - you get that one uphill curve and we do that right up front because the rest of the zoo is level and/or all downhill. If you go right, you will have more inclines more often. There is a nice trail in the back of the zoo as well that we just discovered recently - more of a little hiking trail. We have found the food to be better than other attraction type places, it's actually very good. Their gift shop is great, so much to see, so many paths you can take off the main paths to see other areas. It has a nice layout.
