The following event is a true occurrence........
I went to Aliante Dental because my best friend used them and it was time for an exam and cleaning. They did the X-rays, which took 3 attempts to get a decent image then placed me in the waiting for the dentist.
The dentist comes in with no introduction and goes straight into my mouth, didn't even buy me dinner first. He starts rambling in dentistry language to the assistant in the room and leaves. Having no idea what just happened and feeling like I was in a video of "how not to provide customer service" the assistant tells me that I have SIX cavities and need a deep cleaning immediately and need a special antibiotic for my gums because according to them were extremely swollen all of which would cost $600........
My previous dentist had retired and nothing he ever did cost me more than $40, and now I have to pay $600?? After I finished laughing in their face, I left and promised myself I'd avoid this place at all costs .
Fast forward a few months my best friend had a problem with her braces. I go with her into the waiting room when the assistant that had been in the room with me during my exam stops and says "good news I called your insurance and we are going to do all the work for free" .......... This seemed extremely fishy to me but she said they would do it right now if I said yes......... Regrettably I did.
The dentist that does my fillings is different than the one that did my exam. He tells me he's only going to fill 2 of the 6 because the other 4 were wisdom teeth and should be extracted........... Fast forward both fillings have since fallen out .........
Avoid Aliante Dental, I would use a pair of pliers for all my dental needs before I would EVER step foot back in there.
