  • ZERO STARS!!! Stay away from this company!! They lock you into contracts without even telling you!! Let me begin to say we have been a loyal customer of Guardian for the last 8 years! We just moved and unfortunately not able to transfer our service. I called to cancel our service to be surprised with being locked into a 5 year contract (which mind you we never agreed to). In order to break this contract we never agreed to, we would have to "buy out" our contract for $400! I was shocked and appalled! The rep I spoke to said there was nothing they could do and continued to tell me I would have to pay $400 to break this contract. So naturally I asked for the next person in charge. I spoke to Allen who was the supervisor and he told me he would "review our sales call" to see if we agreed to this. I asked if I could also listen to this, because there is no way we would have ever agreed to a 5 year contract! He told me NO! He said because it's property of Guardian I was not able to listen to it. Well a couple days went by and Allen called me back and told me because of how the sales call went he would agree to lower my buy out to $100! This tells me we didn't agree to it!! However I said ok because at this point we needed to cancel. I told them to cancel my auto debit, etc. Today almost 3 weeks later my autodebit pulled $47 out of my account for services to cover the month of June. Again we moved! I called Guardian to have them cancel my autodebit and asked for a refund for services we aren't even using! Well looks like i had another surprise when i called them because apparently we haven't completed the buy out yet, and they refused to cancel my autodebit! So now I get to pay for services in a house I'm not even in! It's not even the point of $47! It's just wrong what they're doing! I'm in the process of completing the buy out now, and let me tell you NEVER AGAIN WILL WE USE THEM! THEY HAVE LOST A CUSTOMER FOR LIFE!! A bunch of crap if you ask me!
