| - I've heard so many great things about Osaka Japanese Bistro so of course the hubby and I had to try it when we were in Las Vegas last week. Both him and I love sushi so we had high expectations going in here.
We chose to dine in one of their tatami rooms since we really wanted to experience the authentic Japanese style of dining. The tatami rooms do provide somewhat a feeling of intimacy and privacy so it was a nice change.
We ordered their sashimi platter (ahi tuna, yellow tail tuna, salmon, albacore), kim chee, miso soup (perfect blend of sweet and salty), a kamikaze roll (eel roll with sweet sauce), spider roll (deep fried soft shell crab roll with sprouts), white tiger (tuna roll flame cooked on top with a white sauce), tuna-poki (our favorite of all dishes, the slices were super thin and fresh, tossed in a light sesame oil dressing with sweet thin slices of seaweed), and a Nigori sake sampler (apple, strawberry, and lychee flavor - our favorite).
We were pleasantly surprised that everything tasted so fresh and all the dishes came out fast. Prices were not too bad considering we were in Las Vegas. We spent a total of $130 total for all our dishes including drinks and tip so not bad for a really good sushi joint. Would definitely love to come back here when we're in town again.
